About Hereford and South Herefordshire

Constituency Map

Herefordshire is one of the most rural and sparsely populated in England, with a population density of 82/km² (212/sq mi). The land use is predominantly agricultural and the county is well known for its fruit and cider production, and the Hereford cattle breed.
Following their review of parliamentary representation in Hereford and Worcester, the Boundary Commission for England has designated two new constituencies within the boundaries of Herefordshire.
The new constituency of ‘Hereford and South Herefordshire’ will be formed from the following electoral wards in the County and District of Herefordshire.
- Aylestone, Belmont, Central, Golden Valley North, Golden Valley South, Hollington, Kerne Bridge, Llangarron, Penyard, Pontrilas, Ross-on-Wye East, Ross-on-Wye West, St Martins and Hinton, St Nicholas, Stoney Street, Three Elms, Tupsley, Valletts.
