Today's decision by the "Green"/IOC coalition controlled Council to abandon any pretence of rescuing Hereford from congestion hell - has instead sentenced the city to ever more congestion, ever more pollution and ever more financial hardship for city traders.

Never has Hereford had more need of a common sense and financially savvy Conservative administration to take back Council control.
The coalition controlled council simultaneously refused to give the go-ahead for the more modest but essential 2 miles long Southern Relief Road - a road which would have helped relieve city-centre traffic and travelling times materially - particularly for those travelling from the west to work at the Rotherwas Industrial Estate.
One would almost think this Green/IOC coalition administration had a death wish for Hereford and its economy; with businesses struggling this Green/IOC administration appears determined to put every obstacle in the path of Hereford's economic and social well being.
